Weight benches are great for workouts
28 July 2008
For sure my Hubby is not a jock type of guy. His 'abs' are like a
fat jello! He makes fun of himself all the time about it. He says
that he gave all of his thin clothes to his thin friends - if you
watch TV you will understand that joke. Anyway, I am thinking of getting him some fitness equipment, and see that there are weight benches for sale online. It might be best though to consult the doctor first, I don't want to damage the old guy!

Acne Scar Prevention
Getting the best acne treatment can be a matter of trial and error, as different people seem to react slightly differently to the various treatments that are available these days. But once the most suitable is found, it is a really great relief, as acne not only creates the problem while it is active, but is best controlled as soon as possible to prevent the formation of acne scars. What is the saying? A stitch in time saves nine!

Hubby Is A Hero - But Only At Times!
My Hubby is my hero right now, as I have just started the week, and he has managed to fix the air-conditioning in my Jeep.
Not only that, but today it is hot and humid. It is best not to think of Canada as a cold place, we are actually just a few hundred miles north of Boston USA, and it gets hot there, too.
Anyway, it is good to have the cool air.
Also, the shower taps that Hubby fitted don't leak, either.
Hmm, pretty soon I will have nothing to complain about - I will have to think of something just to keep him on his toes!

Consumer Price Watch Compares Diet Pills
22 July 2008
Diet pills are an excellent part of any diet program, and they can also be used as the only means of achieving weight loss.
There are many types of pills on the market, and I have found a website that reviews over 200 of the different pills available. The website uses 12 points to compare the products, taking into account not only price and quality, but also less visible items such as long term benefits and company reputation. They narrow things down to the top 10 pills, allowing you to easily select the best diet pill for your own use. Actually, the top ten pills are all running within an 8% range of each other in the ratings right now. I think it is a good idea to use diet pills in conjunction with a good balanced diet including fruit and of course vegetables for my own program in dieting and so maintain excellent general health while losing the weight. A good thing to do is to have a good exercise program as well, not too strenuous, but consistent, I try to increase my exercising time by just a few minutes each day, but I have to admit that I sometimes move backwards a bit on the exercise part of my own diet!

Saving Gas, Here Are Some Figures!
Although gas went down in price a little last week, I am sure that the upward price trend will continue. So, I did a little working out, and here are the results.

Running a large vehicle that does about 20 miles per gallon, and assuming that I do about 30 miles a day, plus a larger weekend trip of, say, 120 miles, gives 270 miles a week total. About 1100 miles a month. At 20MPG, that is 55 gallons a month.
Now, using a smaller car, that is still a reasonable size, not too cramped, that does, say, 30 MPG, the same mileage uses just over 36 gallons. So, I am saving about 20 gallons a month. Even at the current 'low' price of $1.41 a litre, that works out to $128 a month (imperial gallons in Canada). So, I can lease a car for about 225 plus tax at 13% = 254 bucks, less the gas saving = $126 a month for a new car! Now, it gets better, if you look at it that way. If the gas doubles in the next, say, 2 years, and I have a 5 year lease, then the final 3 years are free.
Pretty good, huh?

Acne Creams Compared
19 July 2008
Having acne can be a problem that is very persistent, so it is a good idea to try to find which acne cream might be best for you, as the various types of acne cream available can have different performance depending on the individual using them, and so it is useful that they are compared at acnecuresrevealed.net. A good tip also is to increase the amount of fruits and veggies you eat, and avoid massive doses of sugar such as is found in candies etc.

Buying An Affordable Ready Made Small Business
13 July 2008
When I started my business, I wanted to bypass the startup phase, and get some more or less serious income very quickly. The answer was simple. By going the franchise route, the costs are effectively put off and paid monthly.
This means that I have for less stress, the office work and sales part is already done for me, and I can focus on the production side of the business. So, I bought a small business that was running instantly. Now there is a directory website where you can look at where there is a small business for sale in the form of franchises.

Weight Control Regimen
With all the extra work I am doing like I explain about in my previous post, I certainly am getting plenty of exercise these days.
It is a good idea to have a good exercise plan, even if it is not work-related, as it can help with weight control and reduction.
Add that together with some help from fat burner products such as Fentraphen and there is probably no need to worry any more about weight control.

Working At The Weekends!
12 July 2008
I thought that once I had my own business, I would be able to decide the hours that I work a bit better than an employer can, and give myself some useful time off to spend with my family.
Problem is, there are extra little jobs, and if there are difficulties with them, I have to spend more time on them.
So, I plan to do an extra job on Saturday, leaving Sunday free, and I end up working both days!
Oh, well, at least it will mean extra income to build up my business.

Nouveau Riche University - Not A Scam!
09 July 2008
Without a doubt the most popular way that a large revenue from an investment can be repeatedly achieved is by investing in property.
Obviously, there are swings up and down in the property market, but if I had to look at how to, for instance, double my money in as short a time as possible, it would be with property.
There are even differing trends within the property market, such as those for commercial property will tend to differ from residential.
Some years, it is almost impossible to fail, but then this also applies to other markets, too. These are the times when the people you see on TV infomercials make money.
But it also can happen that there might be some stagnant times as well, with slower sales, less building starts, etc. These are the times when if you are making a business of investing, then you have to be careful to place your investments wisely relative to the situation.
Nouveau Riche University gives education for those interested in having an investment business.
There have been detractors of the services offered, and this has become a talking point in many blogs, as some seem for, and of course, others against. So, it might be worth checking out anything referring to the Nouveau Riche Scam as this is where meaningful discussion will be found. Looking around, there are a few places with such comments that have references to the Nouveau Riche Scam and you will find that some of the detractors are firmly corrected in their opinions and statements relative to the Nouveau Riche Scam, allowing you to make up your own mind. Certainly the rebuttals I have seen seem to hold water.

Extra Work This Week, and it is HOT!
08 July 2008
Have you ever noticed how it might rain only when you plan a nice trip out, or be sunny only when you want shade for viewing a function without getting too sunburned?
Well, this week, I have extra work, so I will be working about double my regular hours just for two days.
And today, the temperature soared up to around 90 degrees fahrenheit.
I believe that this is called 'Murphy's Law' but I don't know for sure exactly what that is. Have to look it up sometime.

New Product Forum
04 July 2008
Here is an interesting site. It is set up like a forum, where you can join, and presumably ask questions about the products that are listed there. It all looks pretty new to me, but when I went there, I found that it had a fairly comprehensive cross-section of products of all types, but mainly computer stuff and energy drinks - quite a combination. Actually, while I was looking at it, my Hubby looked over my shoulder and then barged me off the seat so he could take a quick look - he was interested in a docking system they have for hard drives for computers, he thinks he will get one, the price is excellent, and it solves a problem for him, as computers are changing over the fittings of the hard drives and stuff, and he thinks this might allow him to 'use up' older hard drives for extra storage, while moving on to a newer computer. I have just barged him back out of the way - I persuaded him to make me a cup of tea, and that left the seat free! Anyway, the website has lots of different new products, so it might end up being a one-stop shop for us, as we seem to be buying more stuff online these days, and the prices here are seemingly about 50% to 70% of what we pay retail here in Canada. They ship to both the USA and Canada, so that can't be bad. And the website seems easy to use too, you click on the subject in the forum, and it goes to a xoxide.com page showing the details of the product. Interesting.

Fitness Without Paying Through The Nose
My hubby once commented in his blog that he has reached the age where he suffers from what he called 'jeans-downage'. This, he said, was because his butt had gotten smaller, and his belly bigger, making his jeans get forced in the direction of gravity!
My own opinion is that he is just lazy, and we are never to old to workout, we just have to be a bit more careful when older. Maybe what I ought to do is just buy some fitness equipment so that he can become like those dudes you see at the beach with the rippling 'six-pack' style bodies.

Is My Hubby Cheap?
A while back, we bought a new computer together with an lcd monitor that is really great, as the LCD technology gives a picture that has a background brightness and clarity that is better seen than have me try to explain.
My Hubby was so disappointed with the computer, as it had the Vista operating system on it, that he gave it to my family, but I notice that he wasn't so quick to give away the new monitor with it. So, we have the great LCD monitor, they have the newer computer. Everyone is happy.

DNA Testing - Not Only For The Maury Show!
I discovered this website about DNA testing, and immediately thought of the Maury show on TV, where they get guys tested to see if children are theirs or not. Anyway, I open the webpage, and whose face do I see but, you got it, - Maury! Apparently, this DNA testing service is the one used by the Maury show.
DNA testing isn't just for crime scenes, it can save a lot of emotional grief as well, with 'fathers' able to confirm that they really are the father of a child before they get attached to him or her.
There is also the legality of knowing for sure if the father has financial responsibility for the child.

Happy Holidays!
We just had the Canadian Holiday, Canada Day, and now it is time for those in the USA to celebrate. They have a better day than us, because it is a long weekend down there south of the border. So, no doubt the fireworks will be popping tonight - let's hope that everyone has a safe time, and that the weather is good.

Being prepared
When I quit my job to engaged into this business of mine, I was really nervous because I lost all my benefits like medical coverage, company pension and of course life insurance. It costs a lot to get covered if you are not into a 'group' plan. When you are working for a company, part of the premium is paid by that company and of course, since you are in a 'group' plan, you can get a bargain price. So now I have no choice but to get some kind of coverage privately. It costs me a lot of get covered as a family. I am also forced to get my life insurance which is also a little steep especially with hubby's age and medical condition.

Being prepared is always a good thing. That's why my parents is now set up with their own insurance coverage for those 'just in case' situation too. Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow and that's why when they signed up for life insurance last month, I was so relieved because ever since they came last year from the Philippines, they were not covered with anything at all!

Saving Lives
Incidents do happen every time and anywhere. Sometimes, it is good to be prepared for the worst. To be prepared, knowing what to do in case of emergency, is what this course that my mom took last Saturday. The place where she work offered a CPR course for all it's employees and my mom was there too. She was a bit reluctant and a little nervous at first, not really knowing what to expect. I could understand that. But as the day progresses, she was fine then. Now she's just waiting for her certificate and she is good to go:)

Happy Birthday!
A huge celebration today in Quebec. The place was first discovered 400 years ago and people of Quebec had been preparing for this celebration for months now. People of French descent across North America can trace their history back to Quebec City, recognized today as the cradle of French civilization in the New World.

It would have been really nice to go and visit the place today, but I don't think I will be able to do some big traveling this year as I just started this little business of mine. I am hoping maybe next year again. I was really planning on taking a bigger trip this year but I just couldn't pass this business opportunity. Anyways, I am hoping it will be worth my time and money and that the bigger trip that I planned will become really big next year.

Solution For Computer Crashes.
03 July 2008
We are all at risk for losing data. If you have any doubts about that, then imagine that right now your hard drive stopped working properly.
You know that this should be just a simple matter of getting a new hard drive, but you are probably like me, and would immediately think of all those things that might be lost, such as the family photos or that email information I received a while back.
Quite often the files are still there, but not accessible.
Flashbackdata.com are specialists in recovery of lost data. Even when a hard drive has appeared to destroy itself, there are generally pieces of data that survive.
So, if you have a problem and think that you might have data loss, the first thing is, do nothing, as you might make the situation worse.
Then, take a look at doing Data Recovery by contacting flashbackdata.com - from another computer, of course!

Who Said Canada Is Cold?
Whew, we have a heatwave right now. Hot, humid, not nice at all. And I have to work. Hubby sits at home, complaining and running the air-conditioner, while I make the money to pay the power bill! It is about 25 Celcius here right now, or at least feels that way. About 80 degrees F. And to think, when living in the Philippines, I used to think that it was cool when it was this hot!

Andrew Wilshire
It might well be that in these more difficult times with everything going up in price, and people getting nervous, that the people who will prevail through this current situation will be those who show innovation, and above all, commonsense approaches, to what they do in life.
Andrew Wilshire is just such an individual, having been involved with his own investment newsletter since 1997, and since then expanding into a 25 broker brokerage house. His commonsense lies in the foresight to include internet driven opportunities to increase marketing power.
