A Summer With No Sun?
03 July 2009
Here we are, well into what in the past has been called summer, and yet each day the weather forecast includes a good chance of rain. What I find more annoying is that it is very humid, especially after the showers that we seem to be getting. We are also experiencing those mass ant appearances, where the large ones, (queens?) and the other large ones with wings are appearing. Maybe global warming will mean that we get overrun with insects.
Anyway, I for one will be really happy when the old summer style returns!

Diet Pills
Diet pills are getting to be a product that allows some really wise shopping for. I guess that the competition has gotten more fierce in the last little while. Buying online is a great way to allow that same competition to work in your favor, as buying locally, especially if you live in a rural area, can mean that you might buy diet pills from a place that has a captive market. Worth looking at anyway, might be a chance to save a few dollars.

Industrial Supplies - Hubby Saves Money Again!
02 July 2009
My Hubby has bought an old sailing dinghy, and is trying to get it into workable condition. It was just a hull when he bought it, and he now has some repairs done to the outside of it, and has fitted a thing called a centerboard, I call it a wooden keel. So, now he just has to paint it, then he will turn it back up the right way, and start fitting the mast etc. He is too cheap to use marine fittings, and has told me that he can find most of the things he wants either at the local hardware store, or from places that deal in industrial supplies. It will be interesting to see what he ends up with!

My Sister - in -Law
23 June 2009
Looks like my Sis-in-Law is finally on her way! She had a bit of a delay there, as the Philippine government have changed the exit rules, but fortunately, we had advised her to get to Manila in plenty of time, so she had time to scoot backwards to Cebu City where the access to a required seminar is still set up as a walk-in arrangement. I am looking forward to meeting her at the airport on Thursday.

North Carolina Beaches
It is not necessary to go overseas or head dramatically south of the border to have a great vacation. The east coast has some fine spots, particularly in the Carolinas. Take for instance Outer Banks rentals that are currently available. Getting filled of course, but many places still have some dates, if not all dates for newer ones.
The risk is less, too, just a case of a few hours drive can get you there from many parts of the continental US.
Add to this the fact that the summer season there is quite long, and it makes for something to give serious thought to, as well as for fall and spring getaways.

Having good business insurance.
21 June 2009
When you run a business, you are in some ways a target. The money that flows through a business is way more than can be generally earned by an individual, and this means that if your business is likely to be at fault for something, then claims are more likely to occur. I made sure a while back that I had good business insurance and it turned out that this was covered in any case by being a franchise, as the insurance is part of the package of commissions etc that I pay monthly for. But this is not normally the case, so if you happen to have a business, make sure you are covered - it might save you some future grief.

My Hubby Is My Secretary!
11 June 2009
Seems that as my business gets better, with higher workloads, so I tend to have far less time to spend just thinking about things. I am in danger of becoming one of those people in advertisements, where they make it a status thing to declare that they are 'too busy' for this or that. A good way to have a health problem due to workplace stress, I would say. There is nothing to be proud of in spending all your time working, it is a bad thing, not a good one.
I still have time to relax, and am structuring things so I have more in the near future, and I can do this by having hubby do all the little gopher jobs!

Which weighs more, Fat, or Muscle?
It is a fact that muscle weighs more than fat.
Because of knowing that ahead of time, I was interested to see that there is a claim made in liporexall reviews that muscle is built more, by 700% in fact, by using the product. After some thought, I came to realize what they are doing here, I guess they are decreasing the fat, and by building muscle instead, the body shape will no doubt alter, as well as if the total muscle created is effective in inhibiting the fat production, then the overall situation will be less dependent upon actual body weight, that is, by having muscle which weighs more, you do not actually need to lose as much actual overall weight. That is my thinking, anyway. Clever, Huh?

Dieting - New Product Release
10 June 2009
Early in September, there will be a new release of the popular Nuphedra dietary supplement. The manufacturers are currently working on the development to give it the same properties as the original Nuphedra. Based on the ephedra herbal remedy, it is expected that the new product will give the same dietary results, as well as the same feeling of euphoria that the original product was popular for. Meanwhile, if you want to use the original version, some quantities are generally available on the online auction sites.

Health Care Careers
09 June 2009
When the economy has a bit of a squeeze, it is a fact that enrollments into the military increase. This is a typical example of a job type that remains available even when production slows down. Other examples are easy to think of - to some degree, food, of course, we all have to eat, and of course health care jobs are another good example. Now, health care is not just nursing, there are administrative jobs as well, of course. So, before you join the Army, and get posted overseas, check out health care as a career move.

Organic Plants
08 June 2009
It is a fact of life that in the so-called civilized world, we eat junk. The whole food supply system is as like a factory as it can be. The soils around the world are ever more contaminated, as are many rivers, streams, and oceans. This has caused an uprising in the popularity of the organic plant as a means of ensuring safer food.
As a species, humans are getting the technology to grow plants better and safer, but one way to ensure that you are eating organically grown food is to grow it yourself, or choose a local supplier where you can see the operation in progress. Another way of course is to buy it from a known reliable source, one that would basically be committing business suicide if they supplied plants that were anything but the best organically grown ones.

He's the one?
31 May 2009
There are tons of tests you can take at Facebook. This particular one caught my attention few minutes ago. What do you know? I scored 99% describing my relationship with my hubby. Are we really in sync? sometimes we caught each other saying things that one of us was just about to say. Do we just spend too much time with each other? whatever the reason is, I am glad we found each other:)
